The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to your community.
SASSA will be rendering services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency claimed it truly is alarmed with regard to the significant number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The service level made for intervention ordeals a higher influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for your office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, sassa status SASSA will mobilise more resources to allow the servicing of all clients and boost entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
